Christian Living vs. Christ likeness

I had previously indicated how I desire to examine the subject above during this year. The first area I want to place under the test is the area of human relationships, namely marriage. There is a wave of movement in our culture today emphasizing the need to procure, protect and promote marriage. Much of the movement perhaps is driven by a deep understanding that historically a society thrives based on how the family thrives. As the family falls apart, the society as a whole will soon collapse also. However, if we are honest, this is not the purest of motivations, perhaps it smacks of self-centeredness more that we in this country are willing to admit. The fact of the matter is that God does have a lot to say about this relationship, unfortunately much of what is available to the Christian and to secularist at large is anything but God’s design.
